Ceramics, photography, graphics and words.
One single need: to tell, to express, to expose.
Every piece has a story.
Every word has weight.

fabWERKSTATT

Werkstatt is a German word for
“workshop”, “garage”, “studio”;
a place where things are made.
For me, it’s my den.

Fab is me. My name: Fabrizio.

Post-Punk Poetry

Italian roots, British subcultures,
rough Berlin and Mediterranean,
cosmopolitan Barcelona.
Raw, imperfect,
with a rebellious kind of elegance.
Non-conformist. Quietly subversive.

WHAT I DO

I start by walking and observing.
I look for places, people and their stories.
I’m drawn to the ordinary,
the imperfect, the lived-in.
I tell stories about what I see and how it feels.

HOW I WORK

I work with my hands and with screens:
iPhone to shoot, computer to compose,
kiln to fire.
I get my hands dirty with clay, shaping forms
with hand-rolled slabs,
leaving joints and imperfections visible.
I favour solid materials
and choose tactile colours
and compositions that speak on their own.
